Screen flickers, DVD isos fail, and more

Hey guys,

If anybody could assistants me solve this problem, it would be much appreciated. I bought a Popcorn Hour A-110 for my girlfriend, and while she loves the concept, it has been a honest headache for her so far, and I don't want a gift to be that way. The unit is only about a month old. Thanks in advance!

When I play movies on my A-110 mostly it works for the first four movies, but then the screen will go black every 5 seconds or so for about 1 second. It makes movies unwatchable.

I have tried several ISOs of DVDs (downloaded and living quarters made) and they play the sound somewhat, flicker every 5 seconds, and show a very garbled video.

Youtube videos do the same thing. They may m the first time I play something after I boot it up, but will flicker after it has been on for any length of time.

What I have tried to fix it:
Rebooting the device Power cycling Switching from HDMI to RCA Resetting to works settings Reinstalling NMT applications Stopping all NMT applications (in case it was overloaded) Trying different file formats Playing from USB and internal strict drive. Updating the firmware (no more updates)
Nothing has worked so far. The problem is reproduced reliably after having the unit on for any neither here nor there length of time. It always happens within a day. The only solution so far is to power off the device, power it up, then play ONE video. That is about the most I can get out of it with any reliability (other than ISOs, which never profession).
